With Gingko Agency, Daniel has worked on a feature-length documentary for NatGeo Wild on the country of Azerbaijan, as well as The WWF Virunga Gorilla campaign in Uganda, and the WWF Amazon Rain Forest Rescue documentary.
Daniel’s latest projects include creating content for National Geographic’s Into The Okavango Project. This took place in Angola on a multi month expedition paddling down the Cuando River. Sailing the worlds first recycled plastic traditional dhow The Flipflopi from Lamu (Kenya) to Zanzibar. In campaign to raise awareness around single use plastics. A documentary, with photographer Adrian Stern, in Zimbabwe about their first all-female shoot-to-kill anti-poaching unit, spearheaded by Damien Mander. A brand film for the beautiful Sirai Beach House on the Kilifi coast of Kenya, with photographer Dook, filmmaker Daron Chatz and Annemarie Meintjies.
After walking the coast on his own from Cape Town to Mozambique during 2015 and 2016, Daniel is set on his next adventure: building a dhow and sailing it to India – documenting the Indian Ocean Trade Routes, Culture and History.
